It’s the new marketing battleground

Customer experiences.

It’s the place where customers hearts and minds are won.

The arena is hard-fought and continually changing.

For example:

How does a movie cinema compete with Netflix?

The answer is through offering a different and hopefully a better customer experience.

One that is more social, fun, involves food, wine and community.

But a cinema experience also competes with a restaurant or live band experience.

The days of competing against other brands in a well-defined category or industry are long gone.

The only thing that matters now is how your customer experience stacks up against others and what you have offered in the past.

My suggestion?

The only way to stay and keep ahead is by trying to develop an experience which is 100% better than what exists at the moment.

You may not get there but the journey will be rewarding for you and your customers.
